WHO AM I?

Vital was born and raised on Long Island, NY.  Known as a very loyal and honest person, he lives his life by a certain phrase: “Don’t talk about it, be about it.”  The way he sees it, if you combine the definition of “unspoken” with the definition of “virtue”, you will find the definition of the phrase, “Don’t talk about it, be about it.”  Throughout the years he has developed a style and attitude that represents the whole “Unspoken Virtue” philosophy, and a different type of swagger was found.  Vital the UnspokenVirtue creates music he feels people can relate to, and hopes to continue to please every listener willing to hear what he has to say.

His unique sound was developed mostly because of the continuous early hate and criticism, often hearing, “You sound like this rapper” or the “Your tryin to be like this rapper.”  Developing on multiple hip-hop forums online, the critique only seemed to make him better.  In the underground hip hop world people look for a sound that is different and stands out from the rest. Easily noticed as a very versatile emcee with incredible wordplay, Vital is a strong and unique emcee in his own way. His styles vary with every track he does, and he bases his lyrics on real life events the majority of the time.

“The hate and the criticism just kept provoking me to keep doing exactly what I’m doing, and all I can do is just be me.  I always try to write about things that I have experienced first hand, rather than live through someone else’s story.  After the great responses on the first few shows, the feeling was amazing.  Now with numerous performances under my belt, all I know is it keeps gettin better.. and so will the music.  I want to thank everyone who supports what I do, you know its appreciated.  If you like my music, you can thank everyone in the game before me.”

Now working with the music group KOTR Music, he continues to amaze with his versatility and work ethic.  The group consists of up and coming R&B artist J Grant aka J Diio, Chief, ThroBac, Novy Nova, and Vital. With music producer Unc Mike behind the music the majority of the time, this blend of styles turned out to be a sound people started feeling, and welcomed with open ears.
